A recent NYT Cooking recipe for Broccoli with Whipped Tofu (and Panko crumbles on top) was one of the most creative, delicious recipes I've made in a while. A real show-stopper at a dinner party. Don't be put off by the tofu if you think you don't like it. The recipe calls for silken tofu, which has zero taste. It is used to make a smooth texture, whipped with cashews and a tiny bit of oil in a food processor. https://cooking.nytimes.com/recipes/1026270-roasted-broccoli-and-whipped-tofu-with-chile-crisp-crunch?algo=cooking_search_relevance_metric_ios_and_web&fellback=false&imp_id=4531247886037971&req_id=651697478644603&surface=cooking-search&variant=0_relevance_reranking

Anne, this is one of your best. I just love it.

One creative appetizer I recently had was a combination of cod, octopus, tuna, and shrimp cooked in a butter, garlic and creamy wine sauce. Each piece was tiny, tender and flavorful. Out of this world. It was in Lisbon.

I recommend Blasta Books (https://blastabooks.com/) from Ireland as lovely examples of cooks bringing their food to a different audience.

Thanks Louise. I will take a look!

One of the greatest TV food scenes ever! I’m literally obsessed with the idea of putting potato chips on omelettes. All those textures and flavors—so genius!

And why haven't you done it yet, oh mistress-of-the-omelette:)

I know—so crazy, right?! Adding this to my culinary resolutions list. :)

Saving this quote, “Constraints are a secret ingredient.” It’s such an important part of the creative process. Have you read, “The Creativity Choice.” PS: I could watch this video over and over again 😆
